What if they fail?
Safety
Liquid EARguards are made to be safe. If your ears are healthy, the worst that can happen is you lose the noise protection.
Materials
The shell are soft, skin-safe silicone. Inside is water and pure glycerin that’s safe for food and skin.
How they work (and what failure feels like)
You inflate them with a light thumb press. If one fails, a tiny slit or hole can let the glycerin leak out. You’ll mostly notice the seal breaking and a little fluid in your ear.
About the glycerin
The glycerin is safe for skin and commonly used in foods, creams, and by audiologists to soften earwax. If a plug leaks, let the fluid drain out and wipe away the rest.
Can I sleep with them?
Yes. They’re made for comfort and to stay put, making them suitable for long wear, including sleep. (As with any earplug, proper fit matters.)
How do I clean them?
Wash with soap and water (inflating helps clean the surfaces), then let them dry. Store in the case when not in use.

What areLiquid EARguard?
They’re soft, inflatable earplugs that seal your ear canal to block noise and water. You insert them deflated, press the bulb, and they gently inflate to fit your ear.
How do they work?
Slip the tip in your ear, press the bulb to inflate for a seal, pull the tab to deflate when you want to remove or hear again. No rolling foam, no waiting.
Do they block water as well as noise?
Yes—once inflated, they make a secure seal that keeps water out of your ear canal. Great for swimming and showers.
Are they safe? What’s inside?
The outside is skin-safe, medical-grade silicone. Inside is water and pharmaceutical-grade glycerin (also used in foods and skin creams). Inflation uses low pressure from a thumb press.
Will they fit my ears?
They’re designed to fit more ear shapes because they inflate to seal. There are two sizes (Large and Small); most people use Large. Try Large first—if it feels snug when inflated, stick with it; if it’s uncomfortable, switch to Small.
